59th Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival 2017-18 (Zone-A) concluded today. Thirteen Co-educational colleges of Chandigarh Participated in the event. More than 2000 students competed for kaleidoscope of events such as Folk Dance, Music, Theatre, heritage and literary events.  The competition for Indian Orchestra, Folk Dance Instrumental Music-Percussion & Non-Percussion Instruments was held today. Overall trophy of the youth and heritage festival was bagged by GGDSD college sector 32 Chandigarh. Prof Emanual Nahar Dean Student Welfare was the chief guest for the closing ceremony of the youth festival. He congratulated the students and wished them luck for their future endeavours. He mentioned that the performance of the students was indeed enjoyable and emphasized that the extra-curricular activity along with studies is essential for the holistic development of the students.
