- 16th Annual Prize Distribution Function
The 16th Annual Prize Distribution Function was held today with great zeal and enthusiasm at Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50, Chandigarh. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Prof. Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examinations, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh. He also serves as Professor at Dr. Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
The dignitary was warmly welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal, Principal of the college, along with Dr. Sangam Kapoor, Dean, and Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal, Vice-Principal, accompanied by the dedicated faculty and staff.
Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal presented the college’s Annual Report, eloquently highlighting the remarkable accomplishments of faculty and students during the 2025–2026 academic year. She emphasized the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and holistic development.
In his keynote address, Prof. Jagat Bhushan underscored the vital role of life skills and core values in students’ educational journeys. He advocated a holistic approach to education that nurtures not only intellectual growth but also character, resilience, and emotional intelligence. His inspirational words resonated deeply, reminding students of the importance of perseverance, integrity, and adaptability in navigating professional paths and life’s challenges.
In recognition of exemplary achievements, the college conferred the Roll of Honour on 10 outstanding students for their exceptional contributions in academics, sports, and cultural activities. Additionally, 5 students received the prestigious College Colours, while 125 students were awarded Certificates of Merit for distinguished performance in academics, best NSS volunteers, sports, and co-curricular activities. Mr. Gorakh from BCA 6th Semester and Ms. Shreya Dutt from MCom 4th Semester were awarded the All-Rounder Student titles in the boys’ and girls’ categories, respectively, for the 2025–2026 academic session.
Notably, four students shone on national and international stages: Ms. Yashil represented Chandigarh and the college at the World Youth Parliament in Bangalore with 29 countries; Mr. Raman was shortlisted from over 12 lakh participants for the finale of My Bharat Quest 2026 (both from the NSS wing); Mr. Parth Chhibber (BBA 5th Semester) and Mr. Chirag Aggarwal (BCA 3rd Semester) secured Panjab University positions.
The event concluded graciously with Dr. Sangam Kapoor, Dean, extending vote of thanks and heartfelt congratulations to all awardees and applauding their dedication. The ceremony ended with the soulful rendition of the National Anthem, symbolizing unity, pride, and the institution’s collective spirit of excellence.

Government College of Commerce and Business Administration held its prestigious
Convocation Ceremony today to confer postgraduate and graduate degrees to students of the
academic batch 2022–25. The event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey
of students who successfully completed their programs.
Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal, Principal, introduced the Chief Guest to the audience and
presented the Annual Report for the session 2024–25, highlighting the notable achievements
of the faculty and students. She also inspired students with insights on leadership, innovation,
and lifelong learning.
Speaking at the event, Chief Guest Prof. Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Panjab University,
and Professor at the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Chandigarh,
stated, “This convocation stands as a testament to the resilience, determination, and academic
spirit of our students and faculty. We are proud to celebrate their success and are confident
that they will contribute meaningfully to society.”
In total, over 206 students received their degrees, with 13 merit awards for academic
excellence and extracurricular achievements. The ceremony included the awarding of degrees
in various disciplines, including Master of Commerce (MCom), Bachelor of Commerce
(BCom), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor of Computer
Applications (BCA).
On this occasion, a poetry book titled “Postcards Between the Two”, authored by Ms.
Varitika, a BBA student of the college, was also formally released, adding a cultural and
literary highlight to the ceremony.
The event concluded with the administration of the convocation oath, followed by the
national anthem and a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal, Convener of
the event.

- 16th Annual Athletic Meet
“Two Days of Energy and Excellence: 16th Annual Athletic Meet Concludes Successfully”
The Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector-50, Chandigarh, organized its 16th Annual Athletic Meet on the 20th and 21st of February, 2026, with great enthusiasm and overwhelming participation from both students and faculty. The two-day sporting extravaganza commenced with a grand opening ceremony inaugurated by the Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal. The ceremony was marked by the traditional unfurling of the college flag and the release of tricolour balloons, creating a joyous and patriotic atmosphere. In her inaugural address, Prof. Aggarwal stressed the vital role played by sports in fostering discipline, leadership, teamwork, and the holistic development of students, noting that athletic rigor is essential for building a well-rounded character.
During the proceedings, the principal of the college, presented the Annual Sports Report for the session 2025–26. The report showcased the students’ remarkable achievements and their dedication to excellence, particularly highlighting their success despite the college not having a dedicated Physical Education department. The athletic meet featured a wide array of track events, including the 100m, 80m, and 60m races, as well as the high-energy 60m and 4×100m relay races. Complementing the track events were field competitions such as the Long Jump, Discus Throw, and Shot Put. A major highlight of the event was the competitive class-wise March Past, which added a sense of grandeur, precision, and discipline to the celebration.
The meet also featured several inclusive fun events, including the Lemon and Spoon race, an 80m race for the staff, Musical Chairs for guests and faculty, and a 50m Kids race for children of the staff. One of the most anticipated segments was the Tug of War between students and staff, which served as a testament to the strong bond and sporting spirit shared within the college community. The event reached its competitive peak with the announcement of the major titles. The Best March Past title was awarded to NSS Wing, while the prestigious titles of Best Athlete and Best Athlete year were conferred upon Mr Nihal, BCOM 1st year and Ms Ishita, BBA 3 respectively. Both winners were honoured with a cash prize of Rs. 5,000, a track suit, and a trophy for their excellence in sports.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. Mahender Singh, Principal-cum-Joint Director Sports, who distributed medals, trophies, and certificates to the winners. In his closing address, Dr. Singh emphasized the importance of Yoga and regular exercise in daily life as a means to combat modern-day stress and maintain physical well-being. The mega event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by the Vice-Principal, Prof. Punam Agarwal, followed by the National Anthem and the ceremonial lowering of the flag. The 16th Annual Athletic Meet turned out to be a memorable milestone in the college’s academic year, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship and unity. The refreshments comprising of different products were sponsored by Verka, Punjab Milkfed for students and staff.



- Inter College Cultural & IT Fest “PARWAZ-E –GCCBA”
Government College of Commerce and Business Administration was abuzz with
enthusiasm and energy as it hosted its much-awaited Inter-College Cultural and IT
Fest – Parwaz-e-GCCBA today. The vibrant event was inaugurated by the Principal
of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal.
The fest witnessed an overwhelming response with around 120 participants from
various colleges and institutions across the Tri-City region. A wide range of
competitions and events were organized such as Just A Minute (JAM), Pitch the
Investor, Debate, Rhythm Riots, Solo Beats, Sell it Loud, Debugging, Lenscape,
Reel Masters, Research Poster, Web Designing and Treasure Royale. These events
were judged by the college’s esteemed alumni, who are now accomplished
professionals in their respective fields.
In addition to the cultural and intellectual flair, the fest also highlighted the
entrepreneurial spirit of the students through various stalls put up by budding
entrepreneurs from the college. These stalls showcased innovative ideas and
products, offering a platform for students to exhibit their business acumen and
creativity.
The winners of various events were honored with trophies and certificates, presented
by Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal in the esteemed presence of Dr. Sangam Kapoor
(Dean), Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal (Vice Principal) and Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur
(Cultural Coordinator).
The event concluded on a high note with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Subina Syal,
the Event Coordinator. The day culminated with the rendition of the National
Anthem, echoing the spirit of unity and pride.

Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector 50, Chandigarh, celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm, dignity, and patriotic spirit. The celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal, in the esteemed presence of Dean Dr. Sangam Kapoor, Vice-Principal Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal, faculty members, and nearly 80 students.
The event featured a vibrant cultural programme comprising patriotic dances and speeches presented by students. The performances showcased India’s rich heritage, unity in diversity, and deep-rooted national values. Thoughtfully organized by the NSS Units and Cultural Committee, the programme beautifully captured the essence of patriotism and filled the atmosphere with pride and inspiration.
In her address, the Principal emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and the role of teachers in shaping responsible citizens and contributing toward the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. She also congratulated the Cultural Committee for securing prizes at the Zonal Youth Festival 2025. Special appreciation was extended to the Electoral Literacy Club for receiving a Certificate of Appreciation and a Trophy from the Election Commission, Sector 18, Chandigarh, during the 16th National Voters’ Day celebration held at MCM DAV College, Sector 36, Chandigarh, on 25 January 2026. - VALEDICTORY CERMONY OF 7 DAYS OF NSS CAMP IN GCCBA – 50, THEMED, “YOUTH DEVELOPING SKILL INDIA”

The Valedictory Ceremony of the Seven-Day Special NSS Camp, themed “Youth Developing Skill India,” was held with great enthusiasm and pride on 9 January 2026 at the Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector-50, Chandigarh. The ceremony marked the successful culmination of a week-long journey of learning, service, cultural expression, and skill development, reflecting the true spirit of the National Service Scheme.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Nemi Chand, State Liaison Officer, NSS, whose presence added prestige and inspiration to the event. He was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal, along with NSS Programme Officers Dr. Yogesh and Ms. Aanchal Malik and the NSS Advisor, through the presentation of a sapling symbolizing growth, sustainability, and social responsibility. The programme began with the lighting of the holy lamp, signifying purity, knowledge, and enlightenment.
A major attraction of the ceremony was the cultural and skill-based performances presented by the NSS volunteers. These included a Yoga demonstration featuring Surya Namaskar, self-defence demonstrations highlighting essential techniques against eve-teasing and bullying, and a Nukkad Natak focusing on the critical issue of unemployment. The cultural segment was further enriched by vibrant folk dances of Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, and Punjab (Bhangra), along with energetic performances on popular Bollywood songs, showcasing the creativity and confidence of the volunteers. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Vinayak, President, NSS Boys Unit.
The seven-day NSS Camp, organized from 3 January to 9 January 2026, involved 100 NSS volunteers, including 50 boys and 50 girls, who actively participated in a wide range of activities. The comprehensive camp report was presented by Ms. Yashil, NSS Volunteer, highlighting the extensive and impactful initiatives undertaken during the camp.
The camp commenced with the spiritual blessings of the Sukhmani Sahib Path and featured a series of expert sessions aimed at holistic development. Key sessions included Health and Nutrition by Mr. Hridesh; Startup: A New Role and Passion by Dr. Shabana Bhateja; Personality and Life as a Perspective by Dr. Jayara; Gender Sensitization by Dr. Jyoti Seth; Defence Life as an Opportunity by Brig. Deependra Manrai (Retd.); Personality Development by Mr. Manish; and Mental Health – A Need by Dr. Vipendra Rajput and Dr. Vandana Jain from PGIMER.
Practical exposure was provided through Yoga training, Self-Defence sessions, Cyber Awareness programmes, Disaster Management training by NDRF, First Aid, Traffic Awareness, and Voter Awareness and an Electoral Awareness Conclave conducted by the College ELC. In his address, Dr. Nemi Chand congratulated the college for the successful conduct of the camp and motivated students to contribute towards Viksit Bharat @2047. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem followed by a sumptuous lunch, leaving lasting memories of service and learning.




- Strengthening Democracy through Youth Participation: Voters’ Awareness Drive at GCCBA

The fourth day of the Special NSS Camp, FROM 03.01-09.01.2026 on theme, “Youth developing Skill India” at the Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector-50, Chandigarh was dedicated to a vibrant Voters’ Awareness Drive, organized by the College Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) in association with AERO-9, South Division, Chandigarh. The programme aimed at empowering young voters with knowledge of electoral processes, rights, and responsibilities, thereby strengthening democratic participation.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to Shri Bahadur Singh, Election Supervisor SDM, South Division, Mr Kamlesh, CEO office and Booth officer level who delivered an insightful lecture on Election Awareness, emphasizing the rights and duties of voters. He also briefed students on the ongoing Summary Intensive Revision (SIR) across India, highlighting its role and importance in ensuring accurate and inclusive electoral rolls.
To provide hands-on exposure, a Voter Inquiry Canopy was set up at the Administration Block, where NSS volunteers, faculty members, and staff verified their voter card details online.
A major highlight of the day was the Electoral Awareness Conclave, staged in the Mini Auditorium with a dummy setup of the Lower House of Parliament. The conclave featured roles such as the Speaker, Secretary, and representatives from the ruling and opposition parties. Fifteen students actively participated in deliberations on topics including Electoral Awareness and Voter Participation in India, One Nation, One Election, and Summary Intensive Revision (SIR) and its Role. Shri Bahadur Singh, Mr Kamlesh, CEO and NSS Volunteers served as the judge for the conclave. Three students were facilitated for their outstanding performance by esteemed judges, along with Ms. Aanchal Malik, NSS Programme Officer (Girls), and Dr. Renuka Mehra, ELC Nodal Officer.
Further enriching the programme, Dr. Renuka Mehra sensitized volunteers on an overview of Electoral Literacy Club in colleges, Campus Ambassadors, 30 new initiatives of the Election Commission of India, the step-by-step voter registration process, and the use of ICT applications such as ECINET, Voter Helpline App, and Saksham App for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). She also explained procedures to search names in the SIR Electoral Roll (2002), book appointments with Booth Level Officers (BLOs), avail Voter Helpline Services by dialing 1950, and follow the official social media handles of ECI and CEO, Chandigarh.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of unity, patriotism, and commitment towards a strong and participative democracy.


- CELEBRATION OF CONSTITUTION DAY (SAMVIDHAN DIWAS) on 26-11-2025
The Government College of Commerce & Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector-50, Chandigarh, proudly observed Constitution Day (Samvidhan Diwas) today, with a meaningful event jointly organised by the NSS Units and the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC).
The ceremony commenced with the reading of preamble to uphold the ideals of the Indian Constitution, led by Principal Prof. Dr. Nisha Aggarwal, joined by NSS Girls Programme Officer Ms. Aanchal Malik, Nodal Officer of ELC Dr. Renuka Mehra, along with staff and students. In her address, the Principal emphasized the vital role of the Constitution in shaping India’s democracy, highlighting the indispensable work carried out by the Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, and civil servants in carrying forward constitutional values. She also inspired everyone with a message of unity, future-building, and commitment to an environmentally conscious India.
As part of the celebrations, an inter-class quiz on the Constitution was organised in a hybrid format, with 40 students participating offline on campus and 280 students joining online. This quiz helped foster constitutional literacy among the student body.
The Electoral Literacy Club further enriched the event by organising an essay contest and a jingle-writing competition under the theme “Indian Modern Politics – Make Democracy Heart Beat”. The best entries from each contest were awarded medals and a cash prize of ₹200, recognizing creative and thoughtful engagement with democratic themes. The winner were Ms Anjali, MCOM 2 for Essay and Mr Jatin Dhull for Jingle competition.
The event concluded on a solemn and patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, reaffirming the college community’s commitment to constitutional ideals.
This year, GCCBA’s Constitution Day celebration not only commemorated the adoption of the Constitution but also strengthened students’ awareness of their rights, duties, and the democratic fabric of the nation.



- CELEBRATION OF 150 YEARS OF VANDE MATARAM – NATIONAL SONG
The Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Chandigarh,
commemorated the 150th anniversary of India’s national song, Vande Mataram, with a
vibrant celebration held in the college conference hall. The event was graced by Principal
Prof. Nisha Aggarwal, Dean Dr. Sangam Kapoor, and Vice Principal Prof. Punam Agarwal,
alongside enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students.
The program commenced with a tribute to Vande Mataram, followed by cultural
presentations. NSS volunteers Tanish, Jatin, and Pranav recited patriotic poems, while Anya
and Jaskaran delivered speeches highlighting the song’s significance. A short film was
screened, emphasizing its role in India’s freedom movement. A live telecast of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi’s address from Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium was streamed, where
he described Vande Mataram as a “mantra, a dream, a resolution, and an energy.” He called it
a symbol of unity and self-confidence, linking India’s past with its future aspirations. He
encouraged nationwide participation in year-long celebrations, including mass singing events.
A commemorative stamp and coin were also released at the national event.
The college celebration concluded with the Indian National Anthem, leaving attendees
inspired by the enduring legacy of Vande Mataram. - SEWA PAKHWADA – TOYS DONATION DRIVE
The NSS Unit of Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector–50, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports, under the visionary guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal Dean Prof. (Dr.) Sangam Kapoor and Vice Principal Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal, organized a Toy Donation Drive under ‘Sewa Pakhwada 2025’ in the adopted village of the college -Kajheri on 15th October 2025.
The initiative aimed to bring smiles to the faces of the children of the village and to promote the spirit of joy, sharing, and community service among students. This collaborative effort between NSS and the Sports Department emphasized the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and compassion, encouraging children to learn and play through recreational means.
During the drive, toys donated by teachers and NSS Volunteers were distributed among the children of Kajheri village. The collection included kids’ cricket sets, balls, and other playful items, encouraging the children to enjoy their childhood and celebrate the festival with smiles and excitement. The excitement and happiness on the children’s faces made the event truly heartwarming and fulfilling. The event created a joyful atmosphere and was appreciated by the villagers for its thoughtful and compassionate gesture.
The initiative helped strengthen the relationship between the college and its adopted community, bringing happiness and festive spirit to the children. The NSS Units and Sports Department of GCCBA aim to continue organizing such outreach programmes that inspire students to contribute meaningfully to society and uphold the values of empathy, kindness, and collective welfare.

- Green Diwali Outreach in Kajheri” 15th OCTOBER , 2025
The NSS Units of Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector-50, Chandigarh, marked Diwali 2025 with a compassionate outreach initiative in their adopted village, Kajheri. Volunteers from NSS donated essential items such as biscuits, socks, stationery, chocolates, soaps, handwash sachets, and traditional diyas to the residents of the Kajheri slum area. This thoughtful gesture aimed to spread festive cheer while promoting the values of sustainability and inclusivity through a “Green Diwali” celebration.
To further amplify the message of environmental responsibility, NSS, in collaboration with the Environment Society–Avni, Eco Club, and Bal Sarthi Club, a poster-making competition and an anti-cracker rally were organized. The rally, flagged off by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal, Dean Dr. Sangam Kapoor, and Vice Principal Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal, saw enthusiastic participation from 50 NSS volunteers, staff members, and students. Led by NSS Programme Officers Dr. Yogesh, Ms. Aanchal Malik, and Dr. Renuka Mehra, the rally moved through Sectors 50, 51, and 52, raising awareness about the harmful effects of firecrackers. Students carried vibrant posters and chanted catchy slogans like “Oye Kake No Pathake,” encouraging the community to embrace a cracker-less Diwali.
The initiative concluded with a poster presentation in Kajheri, reinforcing the themes of a “Green, Noise-Free, and Plastic-Free Diwali.” Through this campaign, the college community not only celebrated the festival of lights but also took a meaningful step toward building a cleaner and more conscious society. The NSS Units of GCCBA continue to lead by example, inspiring others to contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat. 2047 through acts of kindness, creativity, and environmental stewardship.






- CELEBRATION OF HAR GHAR TIRANGA AND VIKSHIT BHARAT 2047 VISION
The Government College of Commerce and Business Administration (GCCBA), Sector 50,
Chandigarh celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and the Vikshit Bharat 2047 vision
with great zeal as part of its 79th Independence Day 2025 commemorations. In collaboration
with AVNI (Environment Society), the Eco Club, and the Best Out of Waste Society, the
college organized a vibrant array of creative competitions to raise awareness around
sustainability and urban development. The PosterMaking and Best Out of Waste competitions
were conducted under the themes “Green India for a Sustainable Tomorrow” and “Smart
Cities, Bright Future.” Recognizing inspiring student talent, the PosterMaking awards went
to Ravneet (1st), Jashan Kaur (2nd), and Khushboo (3rd), while Dhrupad, Vansh, and
Payal triumphed in the Best Out of Waste category.
A Tri Colour themed Cooking Competition with a noflame theme brought a splash of
culinary creativity to the celebrations, featuring nine enthusiastic teams. Ishana & Bhaumik
secured 1st place, followed by Aanandi & Divya (2nd) and Abhedika & Yatin (3rd).
Medals and certificates were bestowed by distinguished dignitaries: Vice Principal
Dr Amarpreet S. Sijher, Examination Registrar Dr Magesh V., and a respected judging
panel comprising Dr Bikramjeet Kaur, Dr Preeti Sharda, Dr Monika Aggarwal,
Dr Subina Syal, and Dr Kamalpreet Kaur. Conveners Ms Aanchal Malik,
Dr Renuka Mehra, and Dr Harinder Kaur ensured smooth execution. Complementing
these, the Literary Society conducted an Essay Writing Competition titled “The Value of
the Freedom Struggle in the Present Indian Context,” attracting 33 enthusiastic participants
from various academic streams. After careful evaluation, Harveer Singh took 1st, Arshdeep
Kaur secured 2nd, and Diksha Satsangi earned 3rd place; all were awarded cash prizes and
certificates. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the faculty coordinator,
acknowledging the students’ reflective engagement with India’s historical legacy.
These celebrations not only added vibrancy and creativity to the college’s Independence Day
observances but also reaffirmed GCCBA’s enduring commitment to environmental
stewardship, cultural innovation, historical reflection, and nurturing a unified, patriotic
student community.

guest speaker, Ms. Neetu Rani, Medical Social Welfare Officer, DDTC Dept. of Psychiatry,
who has 10 years of experience in substance abuse treatment. Ms. Rani’s expertise and
passion for the subject made her an ideal speaker for the event.
Ms. Neetu Rani delivered an informative and engaging lecture on drug awareness,
highlighting the risks and consequences of substance abuse. She shared her expertise and
experiences, providing valuable insights to the students. After the lecture, the students took a
pledge to avoid drugs and substance abuse. The pledge taken by the students demonstrated
their commitment to leading a healthy and drug-free life. This commitment marked a
significant moment in the program, as students demonstrated their resolve to lead a healthy
and drug-free life and promise to make contributions in VIKSIT BHARAT. At end a token of
gratitude was presented to Ms. Neetu Rani by VADA Convener Sh. Gurjinder Singh,
expressing appreciation for her valuable contribution to the program.

oplus_0 - CELEBRATION OF 79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY
Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector 50, Chandigarh,
celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on
15th August 2025. The event aimed to honor the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and instil
the values of unity, responsibility, and nation-building among students.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Vice-Principal Dr.
Amarpreet Singh Sijher, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The Vice Principal
addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of independence, the progress achieved
over the years, and the role of youth in shaping the future of the nation.
All faculty members, including administrative staff, were present to grace the occasion and
motivate students. Their presence and active participation made the event more meaningful.
Various cultural items were performed including patriotic songs, speeches, dances, and a
short skit portraying the struggles of freedom fighters. Students participated with great zeal,
showcasing their talents and expressing their love for the country.
The event concluded with the entire gathering standing in unison to sing the National
Anthem, filling the air with a sense of pride, unity, and commitment towards the nation.
Sweets were distributed among students and staff, marking the end of the memorable
celebration.
