Government College of Commerce and Business Administration was abuzz with
enthusiasm and energy as it hosted its much-awaited Inter-College Cultural and IT
Fest – Parwaz-e-GCCBA today. The vibrant event was inaugurated by the Principal
of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal.
The fest witnessed an overwhelming response with around 120 participants from
various colleges and institutions across the Tri-City region. A wide range of
competitions and events were organized such as Just A Minute (JAM), Pitch the
Investor, Debate, Rhythm Riots, Solo Beats, Sell it Loud, Debugging, Lenscape,
Reel Masters, Research Poster, Web Designing and Treasure Royale. These events
were judged by the college’s esteemed alumni, who are now accomplished
professionals in their respective fields.
In addition to the cultural and intellectual flair, the fest also highlighted the
entrepreneurial spirit of the students through various stalls put up by budding
entrepreneurs from the college. These stalls showcased innovative ideas and
products, offering a platform for students to exhibit their business acumen and
creativity.
The winners of various events were honored with trophies and certificates, presented
by Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Aggarwal in the esteemed presence of Dr. Sangam Kapoor
(Dean), Prof. (Dr.) Punam Agarwal (Vice Principal) and Dr. Kamalpreet Kaur
(Cultural Coordinator).
The event concluded on a high note with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Subina Syal,
the Event Coordinator. The day culminated with the rendition of the National
Anthem, echoing the spirit of unity and pride.
