Orientation Cum Drug Awareness program of VADA CLUB was organised on 7-aug-25
Under the Guidance and Leadership of Principal. The objective of the orientation program
was to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and empower them to make
informed choices. The program aimed to create awareness about substance abuse and its
effects, and to encourage students to take a pledge against drug use. The program featured a
guest speaker, Ms. Neetu Rani, Medical Social Welfare Officer, DDTC Dept. of Psychiatry,
who has 10 years of experience in substance abuse treatment. Ms. Rani’s expertise and
passion for the subject made her an ideal speaker for the event.
Ms. Neetu Rani delivered an informative and engaging lecture on drug awareness,
highlighting the risks and consequences of substance abuse. She shared her expertise and
experiences, providing valuable insights to the students. After the lecture, the students took a
pledge to avoid drugs and substance abuse. The pledge taken by the students demonstrated
their commitment to leading a healthy and drug-free life. This commitment marked a
significant moment in the program, as students demonstrated their resolve to lead a healthy
and drug-free life and promise to make contributions in VIKSIT BHARAT. At end a token of
gratitude was presented to Ms. Neetu Rani by VADA Convener Sh. Gurjinder Singh,
expressing appreciation for her valuable contribution to the program.
The Vada Club would like to extend its gratitude to Ms. Neetu Rani for her valuable
contribution to the program. We also appreciate the enthusiasm and participation of the
students, which made the event a success.
